About Pamela, Founder of Joyganize
I guess you can say I was born to organize: my baby book says “you like to put things in boxes to try to tidy up.“ But being good at organizing certainly doesn’t mean I’ve been tidy all my life. When I was young, every square inch of my bedroom was covered with stuff! It took many years—mostly living in tiny Manhattan apartments—for me to develop systems and routines that helped me stay organized. So, while getting organized comes naturally, I very much understand the struggle of staying organized. That’s why I emphasize organizing systems that work for my clients’ lifestyles and are easy to follow.
My work is informed by over a decade as a real estate broker in New York City. With apartments selling for upwards of $1,000 per square foot, spacious homes are hard to come by. Over the years, I advised many real estate clients on how they could fit their big lives into small apartments—and transform their homes into relaxing retreats. And apartment dwellers aren’t the only ones challenged by their space. The larger the home, the easier it is to accumulate too much and lose sight of how to organize everything.
Ultimately, I help people create organized spaces (of all sizes) because I’ve seen and experienced the positive ripple effects: less stress, more time for friends, family, and career, and an overall sense of well-being.
